I am in SERIOUS need of a killer cookie recipe for my friend’s annual baking competition. I have been so busy with work and being sick, that I have not been on top of this like I usually am and am now just drawing a blank for what to make.

From Mindy Kaling’s Twitter: Southerner Ed Helms directs my episode this week, so we got a food truck that honors his heritage.
I think Chick-fil-A is the tastiest and most politically correct way to honor anyone’s Southern heritage.

Sometimes I ask MVP for “something nice”…a kind word or a sweet thought, usually before we go to sleep. I know at times it gets sooooooo annoying and might sound needy or girly or something else-y, but he is a good boy and plays along.
And then there are times like today, where he sends me emails out of the blue with the subject line “Something Nice” where he writes:
Just in case you need one, I wanted to know that I slept on your side last night bc it reminded me of you.
And just like that, it doesn’t really matter what in the world this crazy Wednesday will throw at me. Today will be a good day in my book.
